President Obama sends message to SC on Charleston Shooting 1 year anniversary
Charleston, SC (WOLO)– Friday Charleston and South Carolina pause to remember the Emanuel Nine. The One year anniversary of the Charleston Church shooting is being marked by numerous events.
At the Memorial Service in Charleston a presidential aide read a message from the president and the first lady to a crowd at the Charleston TD Arena.
President Barack Obama says that the nation is deeply moved by what he calls “the boundless love and unshakable resilience” of the congregation of Emanuel AME Church, the scene of last year’s church shootings.
