Garners Ferry Road Reopened Following Gas Line Rupture
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A building on Garners Ferry Road was evacuated due to a natural gas line rupture Wednesday morning.
According to the Columbia Fire Department Twitter account the rupture occurred on the 8100 block of Garners Ferry Road.

All traffic inbound and outbound was closed as a precaution; according to SCE&G Garners Ferry Road is now open.
Columbia: Garners Ferry gas leak secured. Road reopened to traffic. We remain on scene to repair gas line. #caetrf
