Watch: New Rental Ordinance in City of Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– A new rental ordinance in the City of Columbia is set to start Friday.
It will require landlords who have rental property in the City to get a rental permit for each of their units. The new ordinance will also implement a point system
for property owners who get too many violations.
Owners guilty of too many offenses could have their rental permit revoked.
