CLEVELAND, OH (WOLO) — Donald Trump is making things official.

The presidential hopeful closed out the Republican National Convention last night in Cleveland by, in his words, “humbly and gratefully” accepting the Republican nomination for president.  Trump ended his party’s convention the way he started his campaign, playing to voters’ fears of crime and foreigners, making big promises to fix America’s ill wills and promising to save the nation from Hillary Clinton.

The political world now turns its attention to Trump’s rival and the Democratic National Convention.   Sources close to Clinton say the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is poised to make her vice presidential pick this weekend.   The decision can’t come soon enough, with the DNC set to start Monday in Philadelphia.
