Suspect Accused of Stealing Over $4K in Merchandise from Area Businesses
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A man wanted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from four stores over the course several days.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspect stole items valued at $4,300 from these businesses:
- A wireless sound bar valued at $300 on July 28 from the Walmart located at 10060 Two Notch Road
- A flat screen television valued at $600 on August 14 from the Walmart located at 10060 Two Notch Road
- A flat screen television valued at $1,200 on August 18 from the Costco located at 507 Piney Grove Road
- A flat screen television valued at $1,600 on August 19 from the Sam’s Club located at 733 Fashion Drive
- A security system valued at $600 on August 22 from the Best Buy located at 10136 Two Notch Road
Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigators say they were able to determine that the suspect fled from the various businesses in a red pickup truck.
