COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Nearly a year after October’s Historic Flood, Columbia City leaders continue to work on recovery.
City leaders hosted a Flood Relief meeting Thursday night to discuss the Federal Aid that is being allocated to the city for flood relief, and where the money should go.
The U.S. Department of Housing has allocated nearly 20 million dollars to relief efforts.
City leaders expect a portion of that to go towards rebuilding and helping residents.
