Sheriff: Two Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting of Orangeburg Man

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies say two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 40-year-old man on Tuesday.

31-year-old Antonio Aiken, of St. Matthews, and 26-year-old Deshawn Rogers, of Orangeburg, have each been charged with murder and also possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

Witnesses told deputies that an SUV pulled up in front of the victim’s car and two men inside the vehicle began shooting.

Authorities say the shooting may have involved a fight over a woman.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
