COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– SC Emergency officials continue to monitor the state’s rivers, two weeks after Hurricane Matthew.

The Waccamaw River is still at Major Flood stage say experts, it is not expected to crest until next week.

Residents remain in some shelters in parts of the state, including hard hit Marion County.
