Second Chance Summit for Workforce to Be Held Monday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The Second Chance Summit was held in Columbia Monday morning.

Attendees included Governor Nikki Haley, along with the Executive Director of the Department of Employment and Workforce, Cheryl Stanton and heads from other agencies such as the Department of Corrections and Probation and Parole.

According to State officials, the agencies are partnering to help ex-convicts returning as citizens secure gainful employment once released from incarceration and the benefits that means for employers.
