Governor Haley Says She’ll Vote Trump Over Clinton Based on Policy

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Governor Nikki Haley has never shied away from her criticism of Republican nominee Donald Trump, but she said, he will still get her vote.

“The best person based on the policies and dealing with things like Obamacare still is Donald Trump,” Haley said.

Haley says the vote won’t be easy but she feels that she will do what’s best for the nation and the Palmetto state. “This is no longer a choice for me on personalities because I’m not a fan of either one. What is about is policy,” Haley said.

Some residents around Columbia agree that voting based on issues and policy is a good idea.

“Sticking by a person based on the policy and not based in personality and who can best do the job, that’s good reasoning and logic,” said Phoebe Smith.

“There’s been mudslinging left and right, some of it is uncalled for. Basically what needs to be addressed is the issues,” said Mark Chestnut of Columbia.
