Selfies at Ballot Box Prohibited in South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Some voters this year are attempting to share their experience on social media but if they want to post a voting picture in South Carolina, they may want to think before they post.
The state of South Carolina bars voters from allowing their ballots to be seen. This means it is illegal to reproduce a ballot by cellphone, video camera or iPad.
So if you are planning on snapping some pics at the polls, remember to only take pictures of yourself and not the ballot.
