Botanical Parkway Re-Opens after Flood

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– More than a year after October’s historic flooding we continue to see progress.

The entrance to Botanical Parkway in West Columbia and Riverbanks Zoo is now open.

The road had been closed after being devastated during the floods in October of 2015.

Work on the area was faster than predicted, Lexington County Public Works officials were able to re-open the road Sunday.
