Former Sumter Cop Accused of Coercing Women Into Sex Acts While On Duty

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A former Sumter police officer is on the other side of the law after being accused of coercing and intimidating women to have sexual relations with him while on duty, SLED officials said in a statement Wednesday.

William McKinley Littlejohn, 35, is charged with three counts of misconduct in office.

Littlejohn could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

SLED investigated the case at the request of the Sumter Police Department.
