Oyster Festival Set for November 20

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– One of the Fall’s annual events is headed back to Columbia.

The 21st Annual South Carolina Oyster Festival is set for Sunday, November 20 at the Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion.

According to organizers, the Festival is Columbia’s largest outdoor oyster festival with over 10,000 pounds of fresh oysters served steamed and fried.

Organizers say the festival will feature plenty of food, arts and crafts vendors as well as two stages of live entertainment all day with South Carolina’s favorite local bands. This year’s lineup includes: Bull Moose Party, Dave Britt, Reggie Sullivan and The Blue Pickups on the main stage and the ACX Twisters Dance Team, Chris Compton, The Prairie Willows, and Tough Mama on the acoustic stage.

Pre-sale tickets are priced at $5 each. Day of tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free with parents.  Tickets are available at Robert Mills House Gift Shop, Pearlz Oyster Bar, and online by visiting www.scoysterfest.com.
