Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Governor Nikki Haley is asking South Carolina to pray.
Tuesday Haley announced plans for a statewide prayer vigil to be held next Tuesday at area places of worship.
Haley says she’s urging everyone, regardless of faith to take part.
Hurricane Matthew, the Dylann Roof, and Michael Slager trials are among the reasons the governor says to pray for continued strength and healing.
The vigil will take place at noon on Tuesday November 22nd.
