SC National Guard Assisting in Battle of Wildfires

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The South Carolina National Guard has fifteen air crew members abs support personnel assisting Pickens Count Emergency responders.

They are using helicopters from McEntire to dump gallons of water on hot spots.
The Guard anticipate lending their help for the next several days as Upstate officials battle the wildfires.
