Governor’s Carolighting Set for December 1

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The state Christmas tree will light up for the holidays as Governor Nikki Haley hosts the 50th Annual Governor’s Carolighting.

It will be held on the north steps of the South Carolina Statehouse, on Thursday, December 1.

Events will kick off at 6pm and the program will start at 7pm. It is open to the public.

According to officials, this year’s Carolighting is sponsored by the Columbia Metropolitan Convention and Visitor Bureau, the Columbia Garden Club and the Garden Club of South Carolina.
