COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– South Carolina lawmakers are reacting to the news that President Elect Donald Trump has nominated Governor Nikki Haley to become the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.

Among those reacting, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and U.S. Senator Tim Scott.

Governor Haley is a strong leader who will be an outstanding Ambassador to the United Nations.

Governor Haley is a tremendous leader, and South Carolina is grateful for her service. I have no doubt she will serve America well through defending and sharing our values and strengthening our relationships with Israel and other allies.
