USC Men’s Basketball head coach Frank Martin has a family tree with deep roots tied to Cuba. While he was born in the United States, his grandparents and parents fled their homeland under the reign of dictator Fidel Castro, who died Friday at the age of 90.

Martin has been a source of conversation and education on Castro’s impact against Cubans, including his loved ones, on social media over the past few days.
