Reward Offered In Theft of $45K Caterpillar Equipment

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that the owner is offering a cash reward for information leading to the recovery of equipment stolen in November.
OCSO’s Public Information Officer, Richard Walker, said the owner of the model 239D Caterpillar is offering a reward of $1,000.
The Caterpillar model 239D worth $45,000 was last seen on November 16 at a location on Weatherford Road were it was being used.
The owner said the Caterpillar was left at the work site overnight while a part was being located to make a repair on the unit, Walker said.
