Swansea Woman Charged with Embezzling $10K From Town

SWANSEA, S.C. (WOLO) – A Swansea woman was charged with embezzling and obtaining more than $10,000 from the town, according to SLED officials.
Lorraine Culler, 56, was arrested by authorities admitting to taking the money between in January 2014, and February 2015, according to the arrest warrant.
Officials say Culler, was responsible for the “safekeeping, transfer and disbursement of the funds.”
She could pay a fine or up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the felony.
