Homeowner Returns to Find Burglar Inside

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A homeowner returned home to find an burglary suspect inside his Green Meadows Drive home.

Upon entering the home, the homeowner confronted the suspect, causing a struggle.

Deputies in Newberry County are actively searching for the suspect, described as a black male wearing a burgundy type t-shirt and khaki pants.

Deputies say the suspect fled into the woods.

Anyone that may see the suspect is asked to call 911.
