Daevon Hezzie Williams is charged with armed robbery while armed or allegedly armed with a deadly weapon, after the First Citizens Bank on Main Street in Clio was robbed last month, according to Clio Police Chief Chad Cheras.
Cheras said Williams handed a note to the teller demanding money.
Williams is being held in the Marlboro County Detention Center. His felony charge carries a penalty upon conviction of 10 to 30 years in prison.
