Dog On Thin Ice Rescued

Denver, CO. (WOLO) — It’s probably not much of a surprise that dogs like to chase things like cars, squirrels and even geese. But one pooches prey ended up leaving him stranded after he scurried across thin ice to get closer to a flock of them on a frozen Colorado lake.

Firefighters were called in to rescue little “Theo” but took them more than an hour to reach the terrified canine who was a bit apprehensive of the orange suited squad.

Rescue crews eventually reached a shaken, but safe “Theo” and return him to his very relieved owners.
