Men Charged with Attempted Murder Following Shooting Incident

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Two men have been charged with attempted murder after one of them allegedly fired at a car during a pursuit on Highway 378 last week.

Michael Rayvon Epps, 27, and Trequane Major, 18, were in a vehicle in the roadway of the 7800 block of Myrtle Beach High on January 21, when they allegedly followed the victim from Highway 53.

Authorities say Epps fired a weapon at the victim, striking the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle.

Epps and Major were arrested Tuesday.
