According to ESPN, the Gamecocks are nearly a lock to make this year’s NCAA Tournament, which would be a first for USC basketball since 2004. At 17-4, 7-1 SEC, the Gamecocks are off to their best start in conference play under Frank Martin and sit just .5 game back from the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC Standings.

USC set a record last year for most wins in a season at 25, but with 10 games remaining, the Gamecocks could not only set another school record for wins in a season, but break a 12-season Big Dance drought.
