For Irmo High grad Justin McKie, time with the Gamecocks is moving too quickly.

Four years ago, McKie signed with the Gamecocks out of Irmo, hoping to build the Gamecocks into a national powerhouse. While his offensive numbers aren’t stellar, McKie has certainly added a weapon to the Gamecock attack. In the last three games, he’s scored 22 points and matched his career-high, 13 points, against Auburn on January 24.

McKie said on Friday that, in his four seasons with USC, this year’s team is the most cohesive and has the most chemistry. The Gamecocks will need that chemistry Saturday afternoon as they host the Georgia Bulldogs, a team that beat USC three times last season.
