Muschamp Announces Two Departures, Updates Skai Moore’s Condition

According to Will Muschamp on Friday, two linebackers are leaving the Gamecocks. Sherrod Pittman and Jalen Dread will transfer out of the program.

“After meeting with both Jalen and Sherrod, we mutually agreed to part ways,” Muschamp said in a press release Friday afternoon. “We wish them both the best in the future.

Pittman, a redshirt freshman from Jacksonville, played in three games last season.

Dread, out of Foley, Ala., didnot play in 2016.
