Truck Crashes into Irmo Home

Irmo, S.C (WOLO) — Two young children narrowly escaped being run over by a pick up truck authorities say slammed into the side of their home it ended up inside their bedroom as they slept.

The accident happened along Hollingshed Road around 7 this morning.

Authorities say, neither of the boys who were sleeping when the accident happened were injured but have been taken to an area hospital as a precautionary measure.

No word on possible charges against the driver or his current condition after the crash.
