Dog Rescued by Passing Fisherman

Waterloo, IA. (WOLO) — Some scary moments for one Iowa dog that had to be rescued from the Cedar River near Waterloo, Iowa.

Fishermen passing by say they saw the dog barely moving in the frigid water. According to the men, once they were close enough they reached in and loaded her onto their boat where they claim she looked at them almost as if to say “Thank you”.

The dog has now been turned over to the Cedar Bend Humane Society and is expected to be okay according to crews who helped rescue the poor pooch.
