At any game at Founders Park, you’d always hear an “oot oot” coming from the stands, but next Friday night–on Opening Night for USC–the Gamecocks will be without of their loudest fans.

Bill Golding, who made the “oot oot” famous at Founders Park, died Friday morning.

Golding was an American hero, who served in the army, including two tours in Korea and three in Vietnam.

He was 84 years old.
