COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Get ready to get reading! The City of Columbia and Richland School District One kicked off their annual “Together We Can Read” project Monday.
The featured book this year is written by two former USC Football players, Preston Moore & Langston Thorne and a local resident who illustrated the book.
‘Just A Chicken’ will be the focus of the citywide reading initiative.
Organizers say it will impact over 2,000 third-grade students and involve more than 100 celebrity and guest readers.
