Claflin Falls to Clark Atlanta in Overtime Monday
Atlanta, Ga. (Claflin) — Ryan McNeill-Moses recorded ad double-double, 18 points (14 in the second half) and 10 rebounds, as the Claflin University men’s basketball team fell to Clark Atlanta in an overtime men’s basketball contest, 74-78, Monday in Epps Gym.
The loss puts Claflin at 16-9 overall and 11-5 in the SIAC.
Trevor Dantzler and Jaleel Charles came off the bench to score 13 and 11, respectively.
Damien Davis scored a game-high 20 points to lead Clark Atlanta who improved to 17-11 overall and 11-5 in the SIAC.
Claflin will return to action on Thursday when they host Albany State in a 7:30 p.m. SIAC East Division contest.
