Man Accused of Killing His Mother

Darlington County, S.C. (WPDE) — Bradley Jack Altman, 28, is expected to be charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in the death of his mother Monday night in Darlington County, according to Lieutenant Robby Kilgo with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

Kilgo said warrants will be served on Altman later Tuesday morning.

He added the 52-year-old woman was killed at a home off of Timmonsville Highway near High Hill Road.

Kilgo said Altman called 911 to report the crime and waited for deputies to get there.

A motive hasn’t been released.

Altman remains in the Darlington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
