Pepsi Yanks Controversial Ad

Purchase, NY (WOLO) – Pepsi has yanked their latest commercial featuring reality TV star, and model Kendall Jenner.

The soda company issued an apology and for putting Jenner in a “bad position” after there was a public outcry on social media over the ad, claiming it belittled protests against police violence.

Pepsi issued a statement Wednesday saying the commercial was intended to send a global message of unity, peace and understanding, but added ” Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize.”
