A Conversation to Empower Women

Columbia, SC (WOLO) —It’s all about girl power! WREN also known as the Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network is teaming up with The Richland County Library  to have a conversation to empower women.

The goal for the event is to have a open conversation with women from all walks of life to discuss important issues impacting them and their families, including work, financial security and healthcare access. Ann Warner with WREN says this is an opportunity for women to connect and understand how you can advocate for yourself, better understand how laws and policies are implemented in the state and how you can create change.

The Best part is the event is free and open to the public to anyone eager to find out more about how  they can make a difference in the lives of the women around them.

The event takes place Saturday April 29th at Richland Library Main at 1431 Assembly Street in downtown Columbia from 3 to 4:30PM.
