COMET Transit Unveils New Bus

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The city’s bus transit system is celebrating it’s 150th anniversary.

Tuesday the COMET unveiled it’s newest bus, ready to roll.

The new bus features new handicap accessible seating, cell phone ports and soon to come, wi-fi.

39 buses will soon hit the city streets.

The transit system dates back to 1892, say officials, when street cars were in operation.
