Muschamp on Skai Moore, Deebo Samuel, Summer Plan on Spurs Up Tour

Will Muschamp made his latest stop on the Gamecocks’ Spurs Up Tour just outside of Columbia, visiting garnet and black fans in Rock Hill Thursday.

Before speaking to supporters at American Legion, he met with the media to briefly comment on alleged assault accusations against Skai Moore, Deebo Samuel, and former football player Jalen Dread from April 27 at a Five Points bar. According to a report from the Columbia Police Department, the three have been accused of simple misdemeanor assault of a 24 year-old man Saturday morning. Earlier Thursday, Samuel’s attorney stated wthe wide receiver’s name should be cleared after their investigation into the matter. Muschamp spoke on Samuel’s status said information was still being gathered on the matter as a whole.

Coach also discussed the team’s summer plans, continued growth in his second season, and his expectation level for freshman.
