US 1 Eastbound Exit Ramp on 1-20 to be Closed for Construction Overnight

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– If your commute takes you down Interstate 20 in Lexington County, there is some construction you need to know about.

According to the SC DOT, the US 1 eastbound exit ramp (Exit 58) on Interstate 20 in Lexington County will be closed Friday night, May 12, and Saturday night, May 13.

The information provided for motorists is from the SC DOT:

Motorists heading east who wish to take Exit 58 should proceed to Exit 61 and re-enter I-20 westbound to Exit 58.

The exit 58 eastbound ramp closure will occur:

·       From 11 p.m. Friday, May 12, until 7 a.m. Saturday, May 13.

·       From 11 p.m. Saturday, May 13, until 7 a.m. Sunday, May 14.
