Phone App Siri Saves a Life

Wilmont, NH (WOLO) —- A New Hampshire man is lucky to be alive after surviving an explosion that left him severely burned over parts of his body.

Christopher Beaucher says he noticed something suspicious inside his mother’s home and when he opened the door and turned on the lights to investigate, he says a ball of fire consumed him rendering him helpless.

That’s where Beaucher says the popular app “Siri” on his cell phone helped him call 9-1-1 for help.

Beaucher is still undergoing treatment but says he is being positive and looking forward to recovering and getting back to work.
