Fallen Officer Memorial in Lexington

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Honoring those who serve others, Wednesday a Fallen Officer Memorial was held to honor those lives lost.

The annual Officer’s Fallen Memorial pays tribute at the Lexington County Courthouse.

17 officers were remembered at this years event.

Sheriff Jay Koon says it’s an important reminder, of the sacrifice, of the job they do.
