City of Columbia Going Green

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The City of Columbia is the first in South Carolina to commit to 100% clean energy.

City council voted to approve the resolution, which establishes a community wide goal of having 100% clean and renewable energy by the year 2036.
Columbia is the 36th city in the U.S. to make the commitment for renewable energy.
