Chargers’ Williams improving, running at training camp

COSTA MESA, Calif. (WOLO) – While he remains on the physically unable to perform list and is on track to miss all of training camp, Chargers rookie wide receiver Mike Williams’ condition is improving.

The Vance native and Clemson alum began running on the field at Los Angeles’ practice on Monday according to head coach Anthony Lynn.

ESPN reported that the former Tigers national champion’s condition is improving.

Back in July, rumors leaked that the seventh-overall pick could miss the entirety of his rookie season. But Williams told ABC Columbia Sports at Alshon Jeffery’s youth camp in Saint Matthews “that was some false information being released.”
