Columbia Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

Columbia, SC (WOLO) –A man suspected of attempted murder after an early morning shooting is now behind bars. The Columbia Police Department tell us they’ve arrested 33 year old Louis Ravenell, accused of firing multiple gunshots at an acquaintance after an argument turned physical just before 1 Monday morning.

Authorities say the shooting happened in the 25- hundred block of Cherry Street.
According to CPD, the victim was injured in the lower body and is being treated at an area hospital for injuries sustained in the altercation.  At last check the victim was listed in stable condition.
