FORT JACKSON, SC (WOLO) — In an effort to create awareness of the training that Army recruits undergo at Fort Jackson, the base is opening its training doors for a “Come See Your Army” tour.  The even, which takes place on Thursday, will be an eight hour hands-on experience, with guests seeing first hand the process of creating soldiers.

The event itself is free, however, if you plan to eat like a soldier at the mess hall, there is a $5.55 cost for the meal.

You must register by Tuesday, August 15 by calling 803-751-5327.
