Saluda County Goes Solar

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Saluda County is going solar.

On Friday,  Governor Henry McMaster was on hand this afternoon for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on a solar farm.

Officials with Pine Gate Renewables say they will power 600 homes a year.

The solar farm brings an investment of more than six million dollars and 140 new jobs to Saluda county.
