North Korean Missile Flies Over Japan
Washington, DC (WOLO) —Tuesday The United Nations Security Council has planned an urgent meeting in response to what’s being called Japan’s most serious and grave threat.
North Korea launched another missile this Tuesday morning (local time) this time flying over Japanese soil with a chance of hitting land.
The missile flew for nearly 15 minutes eventually breaking into three pieces and dropping into the Pacific Ocean.
President Trump says the United States is fully standing behind Japan.
Monday, The Pentagon says it was still in the process of assessing the launch.
According to ABC News, “North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD, determined the missile launch from North Korea did not pose a threat to North America, and said , “We are working closely with Pacific Command, Strategic Command and NORAD, and we’ll provide an update as soon as possible,” he added.
