Governor McMaster Signs Order Sending State Aid to Texas

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – South Carolina is sending more aid to Texas.

Tuesday, Governor Henry McMaster signed an executive order placing the South Carolina National Guard on state duty after a request from the Texas governor.
McMaster says the state’s Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team is deploying.

Among the other outlets of aid, the South Carolina Forestry Commission is sending 18 members of the incident management team to Texas.
