Labor Day Traffic Safety Checkpoints Underway

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Labor Day holiday means more traffic…and more patrols.
Area officers, including Columbia police and Lexington Police have stepped up their presence.
As many of your neighbors head home from the long weekend…checkpoints are set for throughout this evening.

Police will be checking for valid driver licenses, potential drunk drivers…and use of seat belts and car seats for the kids.
