ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – While SC State lost their season opener Sunday at Southern, history was made by last year’s and this preseason MEAC Defensive Player of the Year, Darius Leonard.

The Bulldogs’ star linebacker and NFL prospect officially became the school’s all-time leader in tackles with 10 more regular season games remaining to build his total.
